Children in many countries suffer from abuse, trafficking, and lack the attention of healthcare. Defender Bruce Harris established an organization to help children in need, as it is imperative that other countries that suffer from these conditions establish codes to defend children's rights with federal laws by offering prosecution of violators with stricter policies.
Summary of CHILDREN'S rights and defender bruce campbell harris
The Defender of our topic, Bruce Campbell Harris is the executive Director of Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza is a charity which aims the rehabilitation and the defense of children. Children from all over the world, especially in third world countries, suffer from child abuse, labor, poor health, shelter, etc. these children get their rights trampled on a daily base without justice brought for them. They are looked down upon and many times seen as tools to get the job done. Children are merely slaves or even trash to the adult of the world. This must be stopped to create a more equal and fair society for all ages of human kind to live by. People of these counties need to be more civilized. Many children don’t live to adulthood because of poor conditions they live in. They don’t receive proper are and help is not attended to them because of lack of money. They get mistreated by parents, friends, locals, and even police. Article 1 in the United Declaration of Human Rights presents that all humans are born free and equal in dignity and right. If this were true, why are children still suffering from slavery and labor? Many of these children are sold into slavery because parents often don’t have money to support their family, thus selling their own kin into harsh labor, to the worst includes sex trafficking. Children should not be forced into such bad lives and be tainted for life. This right is also stated in Article 5, that no human shall be in slavery. In Article 3, it states that every person has the right to live in liberty and security. The Children Right's topic in the human rights support many of the articles that United Declaration of Human Rights, children die every day because of their lack of protection. Lives are thrown away because of mistreatment and pure terror.
Adding on those issues, Article 10 states how everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing. Unfortunately, certain countries disregard children’s voices and automatically do whatever they wish without hearing reason. Children are accused of, beat, and even murdered without a just cause. And even so, no one stands for them and suffers from all kinds of treatments. Children in such countries live in cruel ways and deserve a chance at life.
Many different programs such as UNICEF and Casa Alianza work to provide for the children in-order to defend their rights.
